Sales Manager (Telco)
Livingston UK Global Division – Location Singapore
Primary Job Purpose
To develop our Test and Measurement rental business in S.E Asia Market by working on any single opportunities with mainly new customers in the telecom area.
Key Accountabilities
- Make proactive calls/visits to identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities in the territory
- First line interface on incoming enquiries both for rental and for purchase of T&M products. This involves qualifying enquiries commercially and technically, supplying all relevant information to Livingston UK so that we can issue quotations/proposals to customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Develop good customer relationships through excellent customer service
- Support if necessary Logistics’ from and back to UK
- All quotations to be followed up within next day
Key Attributes
- Good verbal (especially telephone) and written (including e-mail) communication skills in English
- Understanding of Infrastructure Telecom environment
- Understanding of Test and Measurement Telecom environment
- Experience in Import and Export and in Customs management
- A good team player, both within the group and with colleagues in Singapore and in UK
- Ability to build good working relationships, both internally with colleagues and externally with customers
- Commercial understanding
- A passion for customer service
- Self starter, resourceful
- Possess strong enthusiasm & drive to succeed and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel
Requirement
- Minimum diploma holders with at least 2 years’ sales experience preferably in similar position
- Experience in wireless, optical , fixed network, datacom sector will be an added advantage
